Revit
Install the Kestrel Labs add-in from the Autodesk App Store. In Revit, choose the building or phase to check and click Submit. It exports a compliant IFC file and uploads it to the project in one action.

ArchiCAD
Export IFC from ArchiCAD through the standard dialog, then upload it to your Kestrel Labs project. IFC4 from ArchiCAD 23 or later is recommended for the best spatial data. BIMx upload is also supported.

IFC-native and other tools
Any tool exporting IFC 2x3 or IFC4 can work with Kestrel Labs. Vectorworks, Tekla, SOLIDWORKS, Trimble Connect, and other IFC-compliant platforms can upload files through the dashboard or API endpoint.

REST API
Firm and Enterprise plans include API access for model uploads, compliance checks, and structured results from your tools or scripts.
API keys link authentication to your account. Requests and responses use JSON. The check endpoint accepts a project ID and file reference, then returns the complete findings list.
Use the API for CI-style compliance checks, project-management result retrieval, and violation exports to custom reporting systems.
Firm and Enterprise customers can access API documentation in the account dashboard and discuss integration requirements before deployment.
